Business Development Manager

Description

You will be a part of the Global Brand team which is responsible for identifying new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends and ensuring their success on the web platform. You will train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate, discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department. You will meet with clients in person or over the phone, understand the needs of your clients and be able to respond effectively with a roadmap and generate strong leads. You will draw up client contracts - depending on the size of the company, this task may be completed by someone else or agreements may not be as formal.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of brand growth drivers and brand awareness

  • A decent understanding of digital marketing and an eCommerce sector 

  • Ability to build, manage and mentor an 8 to 10 member team

  • A customer-centric, creative and analytical problem-solving mindset

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills

  • Good negotiation skills

  • Open to long-term travel at short notice
